Veronica Gizuk

Veronica Gizuk is a 23-year-old who grew up in a small town three hours north of Woodbine Racetrack. Growing up and owning horses, Veronica is a long time equestrian but didn't become involved in horse racing until 2018. 


Over the last four years, Veronica has worked various jobs within the industry and has worked for a few different trainers, including Mark Casse, Gail Cox and Denyse McClachrie.


Veronica founded Gate to Wire in May of 2020 in hopes of creating new fans and telling unique stories. Since starting, GTW has featured some of the biggest names in racing like trainer Chad Brown, jockey Mike Smith, trainer Mark Casse and many more.

Over the last five years, Veronica has worked various jobs within the industry and has worked for a few different trainers, including Mark Casse, Gail Cox and Denyse McClachrie. Veronica is currently in Australia working in Sydney at Rosehill Gardens.
